Eizo’s high-rez monitor approved for breast tomo

The FDA has cleared Eizo’s 5-megapixel monochrome monitor for breast tomosynthesis, the Japanese company has announced.

Called the RadiForce GX540, the 2048 x 2560 monitor offers a contrast ratio of 1200:1, with deeper black levels than previous models for sharper reproductions of fine image details, according to Eizo.
