Appling named AngioDynamics VP
Interventional radiology device developer AngioDynamics of Queensbury, N.Y., has promoted its vice president of research, William Appling, to the position of senior vice president of research and development, effective immediately. Prior to the promotion, Appling had served as the company’s vice president of research since 2002.

Appling has more than 20 years of experience with research, development, and the manufacture of medical devices, the company said. Prior to joining AngioDynamics, Appling held the roles of manager of product development and manager of catheter operations at E-Z-EM.
