Interventional device developer Bacchus Vascular has named Scott Cramer as its senior vice president of sales. The Santa Clara, Calif.-based firm sells devices for the minimally invasive treatment of deep vein thrombosis and other peripheral vascular diseases that are used by interventional radiologists and surgeons.

Cramer most recently served as senior vice president of U.S. sales and account services for VNUS Medical Technologies from 2000 until April, 2007. Previously, Cramer held senior management positions with EndoSonics, Cardiometrics, and Baxter Healthcare’s cardiovascular division, Bacchus said.
