E-Z-EM Inc. announced that Adel Michael was elected to its board of directors on May 4, 2007. Over a 35-year career, Michael has held leadership positions with global responsibilities in finance, manufacturing, legal and IT systems, and general management. Michael recently served as the vice chairman of the board and chief financial officer of Mentor Corporation. Prior to Mentor, he was senior vice president and chief financial officer of Getz Brothers and Co. Inc., San Francisco. Michael also previously served as the controller of Amphenol Corporation, a subsidiary of Allied / Signal Corporation in Toronto, Canada and Chicago.
ProSolv CardioVascular, a Fujifilm company, announced that Dennis Atkins of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, has been appointed to the position of director of sales and marketing, assuming responsibility for leading ProSolv’s national sales team and also overseeing all of the company’s marketing initiatives. Atkins brings more than 20 years of field sales management experience to the position, with considerable time spent working specifically in the cardiovascular imaging market.
