Toshiba America Medical Systems’ Infinix-i bi-plane cardiovascular x-ray system will be used during two live pediatric cases at the Pediatric and Adult Interventional Cardiac Symposium (PICS-AICS), April 15-18, in Chicago.

The live cases will be performed on Tuesday, April 17, by Ziyad M. Hijazi, MD, and Zahid Amin, MD, of Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, and John P. Cheatham, MD, of Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

The Infinix-i system features a five-axis positioner to provide easier patient access and enable physicians to obtain challenging imaging angles during diagnosis or treatment, according to Tustin, Calif.-based Toshiba.
