Medison has introduced its new SonoAce X8, designed to be a true multi-modality ultrasound system. The system features high-resolution 3D/4D imaging, 3D multidetector view, 3D oblique view, dynamic MR and full spectrum imaging.

SonoAce X8 incorporates a high-resolution 17-inch LCD flat screen monitor with an articulated arm for optimal ergonomic viewing during the ultrasound examination. It also includes sensitive spectral, color and power Doppler as well as harmonic imaging, on-board image archival and comprehensive measurement packages.

The product release date for sale in the United States is August.
