Sponsored by Toshiba America Medical Systems, the Society of Cardiovascular CT (SCCT) is now accepting submissions for the fourth annual Young Investigator Awards.

Two residents or fellows in either radiology or cardiology will be eligible for the unrestricted educational grant, said the Vienna, Va.-based society, for patient care research in the categories of technical and clinical advancement of CCT.

Papers regarding the technology of CCT or the clinical applications of CCT will be considered and applicants may enter by submitting their research through the SCCT Web site, where complete criteria can be found.  In addition, the award winners' abstract will be eligible for priority publication in the Journal of Cardiovascular CT , as well as being highlighted on the annual scientific meeting Web site, according to the SCCT.

The deadline for all award submissions will be April 2, said the SCCT.
