St. Jude debuts cardiac mapping system in Japan
The St. Jude Medical EnSite Cardiac Mapping system, a system used to treat cardiac arrhythmias, is now available for use in Japan.

The tool creates a 3D cardiac map and model from the electrophysiology catheter. Within the system, St. Paul, Minn.-based St. Jude said the OneMap tool can be used to create cardiac models and electrically map information from catheters and electrodes to help display information.

Additionally, the systems RealReview function provides real-time, side-by-side views of procedures to enable comparisons of events and outcome without losing the ability to visualize and navigate catheters.

According to St. Jude, the EnSite Velocity system is also available for use in the U.S., Europe and some countries in the Asia Pacific region.
