TeraRecon highlights iNtuition features at SCCT
TeraRecon, an advanced visualization and decision support technologies company, will demonstrate how its Aquarius iNtuition adds to the value proposition of cardiac CT for enterprise workflow at the 5th annual scientific meeting of the Society of Cardiovascular CT (SCCT), held from July 15-18 in Las Vegas.

The San Mateo, Calif.-based company said its Aquarius iNtuition provides interpretation tools for cardiac CT, including the AquariusAPS pre-processing server which detects cardiac anatomy, identifies vascular structures and prepares centerlines and segmentation treatments in advance. In addition, at SCCT 2010, TeraRecon will demonstrate prototype Centerline Cross-Section Analytics, which allows the system to highlight areas of potential concern in the coronary vessels, based on the diameter profile along the centerline.

In addition to such coronary analysis tools, iNtuition also offers Time-Volume Analysis tools for cardiac functional analysis and coronary calcium scoring capability.
