2View's radio-opaque grid system for its Specimen Mammography Container

2View (Booth 2559) is introducing a radio-opaque grid system for its 2View Specimen Mammography Container, designed to significantly improve confidence in pathologic margin analysis.

The firm has added an integrated reference grid system to enhance the value of its 2View Specimen Mammography Container, introduced in 2007. The radio-opaque grid is integrated into the lid of the 2View, providing a reference that can be seen on the specimen mammogram, as well as on the outside of the container. The grid can be aligned by a surgeon to ensure margin orientation is easily understood by all parties.

The 2View is a disposable device designed to reduce re-excision rates by providing two orthogonal views without manipulation or compression. The specimen travels from surgery to imaging to pathology completely untouched.
