Accuray signs Still River to provide patient positioning system
Accuray has entered into a partnership with Still River Systems of Littleton, Mass., a developer of proton beam radiotherapy (PBRT) devices, and will provide them with a robotic patient positioning system.

The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Accuray said it will supply its RoboCouch Robotic Patient Positioning System, which positions patients with 6 degrees of freedom for treatment, enabling clinicians to re-position the patient from the control room. The system will be used with Still River's, single-room Monarch 250 PBRT System.
