Accurays CyberKnife achieves 1,000th prostate treatment

Accuray, a radiosurgery systems provider, has treated 1,000 prostate cancer patients with its CyberKnife robotic radiosurgery system.

The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Accuray said that its non-invasive CyberKnife system presents an alternative to surgery or other conventional prostate cancer treatments.
