AccuSoft Ships 64-Bit Version of ImageGear
AccuSoft Corporation, a technology provider for data analysis applications, recently announced that it has begun shipping a 64-bit version of its ImageGear imaging developers toolkit. The new version features new plug-in components that enable it to target developers who are creating applications for the scientific market.  

ImageGear for 64-bit is available for both Intel/Itanium and AMD 64-bit processors for Microsoft Windows, as well as Sun Solaris and HP-UX for UNIX platforms.   
   
The toolkit's two new optional components are Advanced Data and Image Processing, and Advanced Core and Visualization which have been created for developers of advanced applications for the scientific market. AccuSoft's will release several other related components over the coming months.

Additionally, AccuSoft announced that ImageGear Version 14.5, featuring support for raw camera files, has entered beta testing and is expected to ship in June.  

Version 14.5 will include support for over 50 raw camera file formats, as well as Adobe DNG (Digital Negative Format) and TIFF/EP (Electronic Photograph) for greater creative control. This product is expected to begin shipping in June, AccuSoft said.
