The American College of Radiology (ACR) council has elected Barry Pressman, MD, FACR, president. The vote took place at last week’s ACR 84th Annual Meeting and Chapter Leadership Conference in Reston, Va.

Pressman has served on ACR’s Board of Chancellors and has acted as chair of the organization’s Web Site Advisory Committee. His other service has included being chair of the Mark Taper Foundation Imaging Department and Center, and chief of neuroradiology and head and neck radiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
