AFC to debut new workstation product line
AFC Industries will feature a line of adjustable, wall-mounted workstations at the 2009 American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA) meeting in August.
The i-Center is a wall-mounted VESA-compliant monitor stand, complete with a fold-down keyboard tray and damper. It features laminated front and side walls, which can be specified in a choice of colors, and mounts with grommet holes to allow cabling. It has a removable front panel with security screws to prevent theft.
The College Point, N.Y.-based company said the unit pairs with its CPU holder to bring computer functionality to most locations. The CPU holder, designed for use with all of the components, mounts computers flush against the wall at ground level to provide stability and minimize intrusion in highly trafficked areas.
