AFC Industries highlighted a new compact cart, which accommodates up to a 42-inch monitor, designed for the mobile healthcare environment, at the 94th annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) last week in Chicago.
The company said that with a 30-inch wide by 30-inch deep footprint, the M2 Computing Cart accommodates monitors with up to a 42-inch viewing area and allows users to tilt from -5 degree angle to +15 degree angle. The cart has a built-in cutout for wire management and holes for height adjustment of all components, as well as a retractable keyboard tray.
Also on display on the show floor was its Mach-One X-ray Cassette Holder, designed for scoliosis and image stitching applications, according to AFC. The mobile, height-adjustable x-ray cassette stand accommodates all standard cassette sizes. The cassette and grid can be rotated 90 degrees to be either portrait or landscape, and with a small footprint with four-inch wheels, the stand can be moved easily from room to room with cassettes and grids in place, the company said.
