Agfa Healthcare emphasized the abilities of its IMPAX RIS to offer a comprehensive full practice management system for imaging centers at the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) 2006 Radiology Summit this week in Miami, Fla.

IMPAX 6.0 is capable of a wide variety of functions including billing, document management, patient registration, worklist management, transcription, electronic reporting, practice analysis, and many other features. The web-deployable application can improve the planning, capture, interpretation, distribution and archiving of diagnostic images throughout an enterprise. Additional, the system includes a IMPAX mobile which allows clinicians to remotely access images, including through the use of mobile devices such as PDAs.
