Agfa scores cardiology PACS deal
Integris Southwest Medical Center, a facility of Oklahoma-based Integris Health, has awarded Agfa HealthCare a contract to provide its cardiology department with an electronic image management system.

The medical center, which is already using Agfa's radiology PACS, will implement Agfa's IMPAX for Cardiology platform. Users will be able to access both radiology and cardiology studies from a single workstation, according to Mark Little, PACS administrator for Integris.

Additional PACS phases are planned for the next few months, including cath lab archiving, said Agfa.

Integris Health is comprised of Oklahoma-based hospitals, rehabilitation centers, physician clinics, mental health facilities, independent living centers and home health agencies. It is a not-for-profit corporation organized to deliver healthcare services to residents of Oklahoma.
