Agfa shows some losses in second quarter
Agfa-Gevaert has released its second quarter 2005 results with sales of $1.04 billion, a decrease of 15.6 percent compared to the 2004 second quarter sales of $1.23 billion.

The company's gross profit fell by 23.7 percent to $388.55 million compared to the same period in 2004. Year-on-year sales dropped 15.6 percent to $1.04 billion, affected by increased raw material costs and higher than expected price erosion, especially in HealthCare.
