AHRA to host two audio conferences in June
The American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA) has scheduled two new audio conferences for June.

"Scheduling and Medical Records for Imaging Centers: To Centralize or Not" will be held Thursday, June 10 and "Navigating the New Overtime Regulations (FLSA)" is scheduled for Thursday, June 24. Both audio conferences will be held from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. EST.

AHRA says "Scheduling and Medical Records for Imaging Centers: To Centralize or Not" will discuss operational considerations related to centralizing scheduling and medical records storage. Attendees will learn to review current operational procedures as they relate to centralization, identify pitfalls from a poorly planned execution and develop and organize a task list for centralization.

"Navigating the New Overtime Regulations (FLSA) will provide attendees with a detailed analysis of the new final regulations issued by the U.S. Department of Labor governing who is exempt from the overtime requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act, specifically how the exempt status affects radiology technologists. AHRA notes that attendees will learn to use the tools needed to accurately assess their workforce as well as identify and solve the legal issues that arise when dealing with the exempt and non-exempt status of employees.
