Alliance Imaging shows uptick for Q2, first six months of 2008
Alliance Imaging, a provider of outpatient diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy services, has released the results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30.

According to the Newport, Calif.-based Alliance, revenue for the second quarter of 2008 increased 9.9 percent to $122.8 million from $111.8 million in the second quarter of 2007. For the first six months of 2008, revenue was $241.9 million compared to $221.2 million in the same period of 2007, an increase of 9.4 percent.

The company said its total long-term debt (including current maturities) decreased to $652.9 million as of June 30, from $670.8 million as of Dec. 31, 2007.

Alliance said its adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) was $46.6 million in the second quarter of 2008, an 11 percent increase, compared to $42 million in the same quarter a year ago. For the first six months of 2008, adjusted EBITDA totaled $90.2 million compared to $85.6 million in the first six months of 2007, an increase of 5.5 percent.
