AMIC continues to press for DRA delay, urges action
The DRA (Deficit Act Reduction) cuts are finally in place, but that isn’t stopping the Access to Medical Imaging Coalition (AMIC) from keeping up the good fight. One effort underway is the organization’s call for concerned citizens of all walks of life to their Senators or Representatives to urge the lawmakers in Congress to pass a 2-year delay in the imaging cuts not in effect under DRA rules. AMIC urges support for the “Access to Medicare Imaging Act" (S. 3795, H.R. 5704), which would bring about the sought after delay.
