Medical image and information management developer Amicas said that the company signed 14 new contracts in its fiscal 2007 second quarter. The Boston-based firm reported that the new deals comprise a variety of care-delivery organizations including hospitals, imaging centers, teleradiology practices, and radiology practices.

The new hospital contracts include four institutions that have a Westwood, Mass.-based Medical Information Technology (Meditech) hospital information system installed, Amicas said. In addition, six of the new ambulatory contracts included the deployment of multiple Amicas product lines, according to the company.
