PACS provider American Medical Sales has upgraded its PACS design for veterinary practices.

The Hawthorne, Calif.-based AMS now allows the six veterinary specific DICOM tags to be displayed on its main workstation screen. In addition to the species and breed, AMS has added reproductive status, registration, responsible person and responsible organization.

The company said it also has added an interactive notes feature to its PACS workstations.
