Analogic subsidiary unveils mobile ultrasound system
Ultrasound systems developer BK Medical, a subsidiary of Analogic, has released its new mobile ultrasound system, the Flex Focus 700, at the European Society of Regional Anesthesia annual congress in Porto, Portugal, this week.

The system is designed for ultrasound-guided surgical procedures in the operating room, offering a 19-inch screen for the display of laparoscopic, intraoperative and percutaneous images and can support a range of sterilizable transducers, stated the Peabody, Mass.-based subsidiary.

According to BK Medical, the system also will be showcased in the U.S. at the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Clinical Congress, Oct. 3-7 in Washington, D.C.
