AppsDoc debuts PHR
Information technology application developer AppsHub reported that its Reston, Va.-based AppsDoc subsidiary is releasing a PHR application.

According to the firm, the AppsDoc PHR integrates medical and financial data in real-time by leveraging existing data sources including claims, enrollment, and bank transactions.

Utilizing the company’s AppsDoc Gateway, built on the VistA open-source platform, users can automatically populate the PHR with health information and non-healthcare related data to provide a complete patient history.

Capabilities and services of the PHR include mobile/web access, drug interactivity, alerts, bio-surveillance management, health information services, financial services and accounting, data portability, disease management integration, selective data filtering, post-termination/transition management services, and it is fully customizable, the company said.
