ARRS, BioMed Central partner to add images to search engine
The American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) has partnered with BioMed Central to add more journals and images to GoldMiner, the ARRS radiology search engine.

The GoldMiner search engine is designed by and for radiologists. It understands medical vocabulary, and uses sophisticated tools from the National Library of Medicine to recognize synonyms and abbreviations of radiological terms, according to ARRS.

BioMed Central, a free database of peer-reviewed scientific articles, has contributed more than 170 journals, adding more than 4,200 images to GoldMiner, raising the collection to more than 170,000 images and 225 journals, ARRS said.
