ART receives patent for imaging of breast physiology
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued patent number 7,286,869 to Advanced Research Technologies (ART) for its “Choice of wavelengths for multi-wavelength optical imaging.”
The Montreal-based ART said that the method within an optical medical imaging device allows improvement in the recovery of images of the physiological components, which are used to provide indications for diagnosis and treatment monitoring of cancer in the ART SoftScan optical breast imaging system.
