ASRT will team with the Association of Educators in Radiological Sciences (AERT) for courses on "Essential Education for Radiologic Science Professionals." The AERT meeting is scheduled for June 11 and June 12; the ASRT meeting is from June 12 to June 15.

On the agenda are courses in business management and mammography, as well as radiation safety techniques.

For the first time, the two organizations will offer a student track - "Career and Professional Development" - all day on June 12. The sessions will include information on leadership opportunities, in education, resume writing and interview skills, environmental scan of the workplace and balancing work with personal demands.

The 2004 conference also will offer mammographers and radiologic technologists an opportunity to advance their education by receiving Category A continuing education credits. The interactive course will provide a review of breast anatomy, risk factors and breast health history review.

For business managers of radiologic centers, the meeting will provide educational seminars that include information on legal matters, as well as image storage and transport.
