Axess Ultrasound has entered into a strategic alliance with Sonora Medical Systems to expand its services to include ultrasound transducer repair and exchange. All Axess Ultrasound field service staff will use Sonora’s ultrasonic diagnostic tools for improved onsite probe diagnosis to reduce service time and increase customers’ system uptime.
“We chose Sonora because of their advanced multi-vendor ultrasound probe repair capabilities and their leading edge tools, including the FirstCall testing system and the Nickel,” said Bob Broschart, Axess Ultrasound executive director. “We have a shared commitment to providing innovative products and services to the medical imaging field and we look forward to strengthening the collaboration between our two companies.”
Sonora will augment its current field service base by utilizing Axess Ultrasound’s field service staff, providing faster response and increasing geographic coverage for Sonora’s ultrasound system service. The companies will share technical resources and knowledge, and will create economies of scale in terms of parts acquisition and other resources.
