Biosensors International Group has received CE mark approval for both 33 mm and 36 mm lengths of its BioMatrix Flex drug-eluting stent (DES) system, expanding the currently available range of 8 mm to 28 mm lengths.

Both longer lengths of the stent system are available in diameters ranging from 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm, according to the Singapore-based Biosensors. The BioMatrix Flex DES received CE mark approval in January, and is currently available in major European, Middle East and African markets, as well as in selected Asian markets.
