BRIT Systems unveiled BRIT Vision at RSNA 2006 in Chicago, a multi-modality mammography workstation available for use with any FDA-cleared full-field digital mammography system. This new module provides mammography-specific reading tools, including support for CAD overlays, over-reading tools with statistics, a dark screen feature, special hot-keys, icons and animated hanging protocols. The tools developed for mammography will be made available in all other BRIT diagnostic viewers. One of the distinct advantages of the mammography module for BRIT Vision is the enabling of multi-modality image analysis and review on a single workstation. Color images, particularly those from ultrasound, can be viewed on the workstation with BRIT’s standard two portrait grayscale and one landscape color monitor configuration. BRIT's recently released 3D tools also are available on this workstation.
