Brown University imaging residency program ranked No. 1
The Brown University diagnostic imaging residency program at Rhode Island Hospital has been ranked as the No. 1 program of its kind in the United States by the American Board of Radiology, according to a joint announcement made by Rhode Island Hospital and The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, both located in Providence, R.I.

The American Board of Radiology annually measures residency training programs by the previous five years’ written and oral board examinations.

“We also recognize the link between superb teaching and quality clinical care, so we know that not only are we providing excellent training, but our patients are receiving the best possible care as well,” said Martha Mainiero, MD, director of the diagnostic imaging residency program.

Currently, there are 28 residents enrolled in the program.
