CompuMed, Inc. and FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA Inc. have inked a licensing agreement to enable Fuji to integrate CompuMed's proprietary OsteoGram osteoporosis screening software with its computed radiography (CR) systems, as well as CR mammography systems to be developed at a later date, according to the companies. The agreement is set for a term of five years.

At the onset of the agreement, Fuji will place an order for 10 OsteoGram systems and then license and distribute the OsteoGram on existing and new CR systems, as well as future mammography platforms in the U.S.
