Canon USA Inc. last week announced that its Medical Systems Division has hit the 1,000 milestone with the installation of the most recent of its digital radiography image sensors put to use at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway's Clarian Medical Center.

Since 1998, Canon Medical Systems has introduced seven generations of flat panel sensors (the Canon CXDI-11, Canon CXDI-22, Canon CXDI-31, Canon CXDI-40G, Canon CXDI-40C, Canon CXDI-50G and now, the Canon CXDI-50C flat panel sensor), offering a full range of DR system products for various applications.
