Canon USA displays DR systems
Canon USA Inc. is showcasing its current line of advanced portable and general digital radiography (DR) systems and solutions at the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA) Annual Meeting and Exposition this week in Orlando, Fla.

“Attendees at our booth will see first-hand how Canon DR systems and solutions can be retrofitted to certain new or existing third party radiographic equipment or be integrated onto one of several compatible mobile x-ray units for use at a patient’s bedside, which can contribute to significant cost and labor savings,” said Tsuneo Imai, director and general manager, Medical Systems Division. “Our new line provides greater flexibility and delivers excellent x-ray image quality while helping to improve workflow productivity, increase patient throughput and enhance the overall exam experience for patients, technicians and doctors alike.”

Canon DR systems and solutions on display at AHRA 2007 include the award-winning Canon CXDI-50G DR system and Canon DR Image Viewer Software. In addition to its medical devices, Canon is showcasing the PIXMA Pro9000 printer, an eight-color ink printer that produces a wide color gamut to achieve vivid coloration and high glossiness, and the Canon imagePROGRAF iPF500 large format printer, which features the company’s five-color dye-pigment reactive ink system.
