Capintec introduced at SNM 2007 in Washington, D.C., this week new DICOM connectivity for its Captus 3000 probe technology through a new software known as Cap-DICOM software. The software adds DICOM modality worklist and DICOM export to the Captus 3000, and allows patient information and demographics to be pulled from a radiology or hospital information system (RIS or HIS).

The company also introduced its CRC-25 Dose Calibration line also with enhanced connectivity. The CRC-25 offers USB/PC communications, an SD flash card software upgrade, USB printer capability, and chamber plug-and-play functionality, among other functions.
