Carestream adds long-length imaging system to DR 7500 platform
A new long-length imaging system is now available for the Kodak Directview DR 7500 System from Carestream Health.

Equipping the digital radiography system with automated positioning and automatic image stitching allows healthcare providers to achieve a workflow for long bone and spine exams, as well as general radiology studies, according to Carestream. It also eliminates the need for CR-based long-length imaging.

The company said its stitching software, which resides on the DR console, creates images that are 17 inches wide and up to 64.5 inches long.
