A combined solution will be offered to several telemedicine networks later this year, according to Carestream.
Shimon Schurr, CEO of CMTC explained that because Carestream Health has open, interoperable medical imaging solutions. Its image viewing and streaming capabilities are a “complement to CMTC’s platform for specialists that need to view images remotely as a critical part of the electronic medical record.”
CMTC plans to offer these systems from Carestream Health to large regional medical centers; hospitals, telemedicine departments and specialty clinics; and federal government agencies.
