Carestream Health has debuted a pre-configured version of its Kodak Carestream RIS that is targeted toward the small- to medium-size hospital market, according to the Rochester, N.Y.-based company. The RIS offering is available now in the United States.

The comprehensive RIS product also offers an optional mammography module that includes specialized scheduling, patient communication and reporting capabilities. Facility logos and diagnostic report templates are personalized for each healthcare provider and further customization can be performed at an additional cost, the radiology information systems and device developer said.
