Carestream releases new radiographic table
Carestream Health has introduced a radiographic table for use with its Kodak Directview DR systems.
The company said that the new table features a four-way floating tabletop that offers a new pedestal design that allows it to be positioned at any angle to the detector. Carestream also said that the table also features pedals for both up and down movement; brakes on every wheel that are set and released simultaneously with a foot pedal; the complete length of tabletop (212 cm/83.5 inches) can be x-rayed; and one-step bar for float release.
The table can also be used for computed radiography and film-based procedures, according to Carestream.
The company has made the radiographic immediately available in Canada, Europe and the United States, as well as most Middle Eastern and Asian countries.
