Carestream Health will demonstrate advanced features for its Kodak Carestream PACS at the American Society for Therapeutic Radiation and Oncology (ASTRO) this week.

The new features include an image fusion software application for PET/CT imaging and enhancements to its native real-time 2D and 3D capabilities including maximum and minimum intensity projection, multiplanar reconstruction, volume rendering, tissue definition and vessel tracking functionality from a virtual desktop, according to the firm.
