VirtuRad is now a reseller and integrator of Carestream Health’s digital medical imaging and healthcare IT systems in the United States.

Under the agreement, VirtuRad, a systems integrator and value-added reseller of digital imaging equipment and services in the orthopaedic and sports medicine market, will sell Carestream’s complete range of digital medical imaging and IT solutions.

Carestream said its portfolio includes: Kodak Directview CR and DR systems for capturing digital x-ray images; Kodak Point-of-Care CR Systems—mobile x-ray units; Carestream PACS for the management, viewing, sharing and storage of radiology imaging studies along with Carestream RIS for management of patient information; information management solutions that provide on-site or hosted storage solutions; and laser imaging systems for printing digital medical images onto radiographic film.
