CareTech boosts IT capabilities at Mount Clement General Hospital
CareTech Solutions has inked a $70 million contract with Mount Clemens General Hospital (MCGH) of Mt. Clemens, Mich.
CareTech will roll out its systems for help desk, data center and field support, network services, applications services, telecommunications services, desktop services and administrative services including purchasing and contract management. CareTech's HIM outsourcing services also will support coding, medical records processing and transcription.
Additionally, CareTech says as part of the agreement the company will assume management over MCGH's nearly 100-person information services and HIM staffs.
