Cartesia Dx scores Life Sciences Greenhouse investment
Cartesia Dx, a Pittsburgh-based arthritis imaging developer, reported that the Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse (PLG) has committed a $180,000 investment in the company. Cartesia Dx, formerly doing business as Arthritis Imaging, is seeking to commercialize technology utilizing 3D and thermal images to diagnose and track the progression of inflammation in patients.

The PLSG investment will support development and testing of a final device prototype of the firm’s Arthritis Imager device, first developed and clinically tested at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and a software interface that will facilitate data collection and analysis, Cartesia Dx said.
