CCHIT grants MediNotes? EMR conditional certification
The Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT) has given MediNotes’ product MediNotes e version 5.2 EMR pre-market, conditional CCHIT certification. The commission said it meets its ambulatory EMR criteria for 2007.
Pre-market, conditionally certified EHRs are new products that are fully certified once their operational use at a physician office site has been verified. Ambulatory EHRs are designed for physician offices and clinics where most Americans get their healthcare, according to CCHIT.
MediNotes provides EMR solutions for primary care and specialty medical practices and currently serves more than 4,700 installed sites and more than 22,500 users across the United States.
