Cedara Software Corp. recently put out its financial results for first quarter 2005. The company's record revenues were $24.4 million, up 81 percent from the previous year which totaled at $13.5 million for the same period. This quarter is the second in a row that has seen the impact of Cedara's eMed Technologies acquisition, the company said.
   
Cedara's reported solid performance for both of its core businesses, OEM and direct-to-hospital, highlighting revenue from OEM customers which grew more than 21 percent over the same period in 2004.
   
Additionally, Cedera saw record net income at $6.2 million, up 21 percent compared to $5.1 million same time previous year, the company said.
