ChartOne soon to interface with MEDITECH system
ChartOne Inc. has announced plans to help facilities using MEDITECH hospital information systems (HIS) migrate to a fully paperless healthcare environment, the company said.
In order to do this, ChartOne has joined a new partnership to leverage Summit Healthcare's HL7 Adapter Suite to provide integration between ChartOne's eWebHealth Suite, a hosted electronic document management system, and MEDITECH's HIS.
With the eWebHealth Suite, electronic documents such as history and physical, laboratory, radiology, operative and emergency department reports as well as transcribed documents all feed directly into ChartOne's secure medical record repository. There, they combine with scanned paper documents to form a complete legal medical record for all patients.
