Citrix Systems Inc. at HIMSS06 last week in San Diego showcased its remote desktop access service, Citrix GoToMyPC Corporate, which lets users benefit from its secure, fast and simple on-demand service. The service offers staff and doctors the familiar look and feel of their desktop in which they can easily and quickly navigate on the PCs that they routinely use. Users are seeing an immediate return on investment in productivity and patient care, while physicians receive an improvement in work-life balance. The system is a managed service that provides secure, encrypted, remote access to Windows PC desktops from any internet-connected computer, and enables remote individuals to use any resources hosted on their desktop.
