Cleveland provider adopts Toshiba ultrasound systems
University Hospitals Case Medical Center (UHCMC) in Cleveland has purchased a suite of systems from Toshiba America Medical Systems, including an Aplio MX, two Xario XGs and two Aplio XG systems.

The Tustin, Calif.-based company said the ultrasound systems allow the hospital to perform patient exams including organ biopsies; intraoperative imaging; and thyroid, lung and pancreas exams. UHCMC also utilizes Toshiba’s Precision Imaging multi-resolution signal-processing technology on its ultrasound systems, which allows users to see clinical detail and includes information from adjacent lines to enhance the amount of information obtained.
